Exterior Color: Sterling Gray/Grau Metallic

2002 Post-Facelift Model (upgraded piston rings, 16:9 screen, thicker M wheel).
Rare Sterling Grey Metallic paint (1 of 672 built for North America).
Factory Monotone Black Sport Leather (O5SW) with highly desirable Brushed Aluminum/Titan Line technical trim—no wood grain.
Runs well and drives under its own power.
I am 3rd owner, PO commuted from Sac to the Bay daily, typical chips in the paint on hood will show this. I bought the car with about 119k on it, it's been a weekend driver for me mostly and always stored in the garage but is now under car cover on side of the house. I bought this car because i fell in love with the M5 after a friend owned one and intended to add Dinan tuning etc. and enjoy driving it on weekends but never seemed to have the time so it's time to let her go.
The Car is far from perfect, this is a project car and needs work but a strong running driver and a great platform for an enthusiast to bring it back to glory.
Things i know to be bad:
Needs an oil pan gasket, i believe it to be the lower pan. VANOSS was said to have been done by PO but I don't have the paperwork to show. Dings from various things, mainly stuff falling on the car while in the garage hopefully pics show it but its tuff to show with camera. Ding in A pillar driver side, small ding under driver side mirror, small ding in left rear quarter panel, some "wrinkling" type dent on passenger side front door, all rear window roller shades need work/replacement. Rear window (main) motorized shade needs repair. There is a parasitic draw on the battery, i believe it to be the GM3 (General Module 3), there is a guy who rebuilds these in SO CAL pretty inexpensive. A high school kid backed into the front while parked on street in front of my house, the bumper cover has been replaced with Chinese knock off and resprayed, i hit a garbage can with the passenger side mirror, replaced with knock off and resprayed. Wheels show their age and could use a re-finish. Hood shows chips typ of daily freeway driving. Rear driver side window may need a regulator it does not work. Rearview mirror starting to DeLam, Radio display starting to delam. Driver side seat bolster needs stitching.
Things i've done recently:
New FirestoneTires, new camshaft sensors, new MAF's, Oil change, A/C just serviced and blows cold, new plugs and coils all around, windshield washer pump, Radiator, Thermostat and hoses all replaced a few years back with BMW antifreeze, both trunk shocks replaced, one of the sway bar links broke and was replaced with OE part. Dinan Cold air (not carbon) intakes are installed, sale comes with all original intakes if returning to stock is desired. Sale comes with Dinan Mufflers (not installed). Also have a brand new set of front rotors and pads included in sale (not installed).
