Available in Australia only originally, a few sets of these were brought to the U.S. years ago.
The advantage of these heads for Street Performance is that they have the tighter “quench” style combustion chamber with approx. 58 cc. This raises the compression ratio of an original U.S. 351 Cleveland engine significantly, and more Compression = more HP! Your engine will still run on California 91 gas, but with more power.
Also – these heads have the narrower intake runners which creates faster air flow into the chamber, and this gives quicker, crisper throttle response at Low & Mid-Range RPM – Perfect for street performance!
These are solid Cast Iron, meaning they are less likely to warp if your engine gets a bit too hot, unlike some of the newer aluminum heads that can warp much easier.
The heads being offered here were brought in from Australia, then stored for some years, and were not installed or run since being removed from their initial factory application.
They have now been shot-blasted to clean up after storage, and then all New Valve Guides have been installed. They have never been re-surfaced, so they are at the full factory thickness. Numbers matching genuine Australian Heads per AI scan.
