Historic Local Provenance (Ex-Libris): Every single book across all 42 volumes features the identical, custom vintage nautical bookplate of Charles Willard Stimson (1879–1952), the prominent Pacific Northwest industrialist and timber magnate. This entire library has been preserved together as an intact piece of regional history for over a century.

To keep this historic private collection intact, I am including a 1931 first edition of George Washington: Republican Aristocrat by Bernard Faÿ (Houghton Mifflin Co.). This book features the exact same matching Charles Willard Stimson bookplate.
Condition:
Excellent antique condition. The distinct uniform cloth boards are clean, the gold foil stamping remains bright and beautifully reflective, bindings are solid, and text blocks show only light, natural age-toning. Non-smoking home. Everything for $450. Pick up next to Fred Meyer on Walker and 158th. No problem with contactless exchange.
