How the Skinny Side Table came about...
I was visiting my stepdaughter and her family one day. I was sitting on the end of their brand-new sectional with a beverage in my hand when I asked my son-in-law:
"Where do you put your beverage?"
He pointed to the floor and said, "Right there!" 😂
I asked, "Why don't you have a side table?"
His answer?
"My wife says we don't have room."
So naturally, I asked my stepdaughter about it.
She said, "If he can find one that fits without taking up much room, he can have one."
Challenge accepted!
A few weeks later, I showed up at their house with this skinny little side table.
My son-in-law loved finally having a place for his beverage—and my stepdaughter thought it absolutely perfect, so much so that she ordered another one to go beside her recliner!
So, if your indoor real estate is at a premium—or you simply want more usable floor space without giving up a large chunk of it—this might just be the answer.
Handcrafted from solid oak in my one-man garage woodworking shop.
NOTE: I'm currently building another version of this table out of pine lumber! It will be listed for $149. You can reserve it with a 50% deposit.
