This is a permanent full-time position with an established Southwest Washington general contractor performing underground utility, civil/sitework, demolition, and specialty construction projects throughout the region.
We are primarily looking for a strong general laborer with experience in underground utilities, trenching, grading, demolition, and sitework.
If you're hardworking, self-motivated, and willing to learn, we want to hear from you. Construction experience is preferred, but not required.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• $25+/hour base wage
• Higher base wage available based on demonstrated experience and capabilities
• Regular opportunities to work on prevailing wage projects and earn up to $67.64 per hour
• 100% employer-paid employee health insurance after 60 days

THE WORK
Our projects include underground utilities, excavation, trenching, grading, demolition, site development, and specialty construction.
General Laborers may work on a variety of tasks.

EXPERIENCE WE VALUE
• Underground utility and pipe installation
• Sewer, storm, and water work
• Trenching and excavation support
• Pipe bedding, backfill, and compaction
• Grading and sitework
• Demolition and site cleanup
• Asphalt and concrete removal
• Hand and power tools
• Material handling and jobsite setup
• Working safely in and around trenches and existing utilities
• Spotting equipment and working alongside operators
• Basic grade checking and use of lasers
• Reading construction plans and understanding layout
• Traffic control and erosion-control work
• Trench safety, flagger, CESCL, or other construction certifications
You do not need experience with every item listed above.

REQUIREMENTS
• At least 18 years old
• Valid driver's license
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Able to meet applicable background, security, and site-access requirements for certain projects
