Job Summary:
The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee daily second-shift warehouse operations while leading and developing warehouse personnel. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for inventory control, shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, transportation coordination, safety, productivity, and customer service.
The ideal candidate has experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or freight forwarding and is comfortable working directly on the warehouse floor while managing employees, driving KPIs, and improving operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, labeling, kitting, inventory management, and order fulfillment
Lead, train, coach, and evaluate warehouse employees
Assign daily work, establish priorities, and monitor employee productivity and performance
Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical inventories, audits, and inventory control processes
Manage inbound shipments, warehousing activities, customs control, and outbound shipment preparation
Oversee safe operation of warehouse equipment, including stand-up forklifts, pallet movers, swing-reach trucks, and order pickers
Coordinate transportation activities and assist with resolving customer logistics issues
Monitor KPIs and operational performance to ensure productivity and budget objectives are achieved
Identify and implement process improvements to increase warehouse efficiency and customer service
Maintain compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and warehouse security procedures
Support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, air freight, or warehouse operations
Experience building pallets and Unit Load Devices (ULDs)
Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control, distribution, and warehouse operations
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), barcode scanners, and shipment tracking systems
Demonstrated leadership skills and experience driving KPIs and employee engagement
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Strong customer-service mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of supervisory or warehouse leadership experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
