Large Antique 1905 Dillon Wire Fence Stretcher

This antique tool was used to tighten or smooth out barbed or wire fence. Made by Dillon and Patented on December 10,1905 in Sterling Illinois. Handle measures approx. 29" Long. I think the end of the handle is marked number "8"

Rusty and dirty. No cracks! The wheel moves freely and each claw catches the wheel as they should.
