NIGHT SHIFT CAREGIVER NEEDED

8:00 PM – 8:00 AM | $100.00 PER 12-HOUR SHIFT
Men on the Move Assisted Living is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and responsible Night Shift Caregiver. This is an awake overnight position. The caregiver must be able to complete all resident-care and facility responsibilities during the shift.
NIGHT SHIFT REQUIREMENTS
• Remain awake and alert for the entire 8 PM–8 AM shift
• Complete scheduled resident safety/wellness checks throughout the night
• Assist residents with toileting, hygiene, changing, and other ADLs as needed
• Respond promptly when residents request or require assistance
• Administer assigned medications and properly document in the eMAR
• Count controlled substances at the beginning/end of the shift with appropriate staff
• Administer assigned morning medications
• Complete all required resident documentation and progress notes
• Complete assigned resident laundry; fold and put clothing away
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms
• Clean the kitchen, including counters, appliances, sink, and assigned areas
• Sweep and mop floors
• Clean common areas and wipe down furniture/surfaces
• Complete scheduled baseboard cleaning
• Empty all trash before the end of the shift
• Prepare and serve breakfast
• Complete the morning water-temperature log
• Check medications for needed refills and report them to management
• Ensure residents are clean, safe, and prepared for the morning
• Make sure all assigned areas are clean and trash is emptied before leaving
• Complete and sign the Night-Time Checklist
• Provide a complete report to the incoming 8:00 AM staff
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must be dependable, punctual, caring, patient, and able to work independently overnight. Experience working in assisted living or with seniors/adults requiring assistance is preferred. CMT experience is preferred. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
IMPORTANT: This is not a sleeping overnight position. Night-shift staff are expected to remain awake and complete all assigned resident-care, medication, documentation, cleaning, laundry, and morning-preparation responsibilities.
PAY: $100.00 PER 8 PM–8 AM SHIFT
