First crop off a young ram tells you what he might be. Second tells you what he is.
Pozo's first crop was decent. His second was better — bigger lambs, quicker to their feet, and out on grass sooner. That's the trend you want. A ram that peaks at two and flattens out is a ram you'll replace.
He's four now and still going the right way. $500.
Valeska's the doe here. She's on her second lactation and hasn't slipped a step either.
