Production Support Coordinator (Wire Management)
Location: Leander, TX
Pay Rate: $18–$20/hour
Department: Warehouse

Job Summary
The Production Support Coordinator – Wire Management is responsible for supporting the production floor by efficiently delivering materials and components (“water spider” function), issuing wire to production teams, and managing the wire cutting process. This role ensures a smooth material flow, accurate inventory records, and precise wire cutting to meet production schedules. The position works closely with both Production and Warehouse staff to maintain operational efficiency and promptly address material concerns.

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver materials and components to production workstations as needed
• Issue wire to production staff and maintain precise inventory records
• Operate and monitor wire cutting machinery, ensuring timely and accurate cuts
• Collaborate with Material Flow and Warehouse teams to maintain material availability and resolve any shortages
• Track and report on material usage, wire consumption, and wire cutting performance
• Keep work area clean, safe, and organized
• Assist in resolving material flow issues and supporting ongoing improvement initiatives

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required

Preferred Training & Experience

• Experience in a manufacturing or production setting is preferred
• Familiar with material handling and inventory control systems
• Previous experience with wire cutting equipment is beneficial

Working Conditions

• Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods and frequently use hands and fingers
• Moderate activity level; may require bending, stooping, standing, and walking for long periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds using proper techniques
• Must be able to understand and communicate in English
• Ability to visually navigate the workplace including screens and monitors
• Will work both indoors and outdoors, often closely with others
• Regular hours, with occasional after-hours work as needed
• The work environment ranges from moderate to loud noise levels
• Warehouse climate may fluctuate based on outdoor weather
• Must be willing and able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for extended periods
