Overview
Small, family-owned business in Central Texas is seeking an individual for full time work who is dependable, reliable and hard working. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation and servicing of commercial and residential flagpoles ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work alone and/or as a team.
Duties
• Install products according to specifications and company standards, ensuring proper functionality and aesthetics.
• Utilize tools and equipment effectively to correctly dig holes, set and level sleeves and mix/pour small amounts of concrete.
• Conduct inspections of installed products to ensure quality and compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with co-workers and clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation and provide solutions in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while always adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
• Proven experience in construction is required. Crew lead experience a plus.
• Experience with using:
o augers
o dingos
o bucket trucks/lifts/jibs
o proficiency with common tools required
• Comfortable towing 25’-40’ utility/gooseneck trailers
• Strong problem-solving and critical in-the-field decision making skills
• Attention to detail and strong work ethic – must take pride in your work.
• Ability to work as part of a team and/or coordinate with subcontractors for large jobs.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• MUST have a valid driver's license (CDL a +, but not required); reliable transportation to work each day; then company vehicle to job sites.
• MUST be authorized to work in the U.S with proven documentation (I-9)
• MUST be drug free and agree to random drug testing at employer discretion.
• OSHA certification preferred; if not, company will pay for training
• Ability to lift 50# bags of sand/concrete and move flag poles

Flagpole service and installation is specialized work that requires pride in your craft. We expect our technicians to represent the company professionally while traveling to and from work sites and leave every job site cleaner than when you found it. No short cuts.
