$70 per box of ten frames, or $40 for five.
Limited quantity, I made about 50 frames excess to my expected needs.
Expertly assembled deep Langstroth hive frames, wedge top bar, slotted bottom bar. wired wax foundation frames.
No plastic parts. Each frame has 32 components plus Titebond III glue, with 12 assembly steps. I fasten the ends of the crimped cross wire in the ends of the end bars rather than the sides, so you won't bump any nails when cleaning propolis from between the frames.
Bees will draw out cells on pure wax foundation much more quickly on average than on waxed plastic foundation. Bees are more free to decide where they want drone cells when using wax foundation. It's significantly easier to harvest natural swarm and supersedure queen cells from wax foundation.
Once you use this type of brood box frames, you'll understand why they are worth the small price difference from any type of plastic-based hive frames.
