Job Description:
Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Warehouse Manager to oversee and optimize our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, logistics, and inventory control. They will be responsible for maintaining efficient and effective warehouse processes while ensuring the safety and productivity of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods, to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement best practices to minimize shrinkage and improve inventory accuracy.
Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and best practices to create a safe working environment for all warehouse personnel.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve warehouse processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to guarantee the accuracy and condition of all products in storage and shipment.
Vendor and Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to facilitate smooth product receipt and order fulfillment.
Reporting: Generate reports on warehouse productivity, inventory levels, and other key performance indicators. Provide regular updates to senior management.
Budget Management: Manage and control the warehouse budget, including labor costs, equipment maintenance, and supplies.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in warehouse management and logistics.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Knowledge of inventory management software and systems.
Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
Ability to operate forklift. Additional training will be provided.
Comfort working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
