BRAIDING ASSISTANT – PART-TIME
Braids by Ana is looking for a motivated, reliable, and eager-to-learn Braiding Assistant to join our team!
No professional braiding experience is required. Basic braiding knowledge is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, teachable, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a busy salon environment. Someone who is willing to learn, take initiative, work as part of a team, and help us provide an excellent experience for every client.
Responsibilities may include:
• Preparing and organizing braiding hair and extensions
• Prepping clients’ hair before services
• Assisting the braider throughout appointments
• Helping with finishing touches and completing styles
• Dipping and finishing braids when needed
• Organizing products, tools, and supplies
• Sanitizing tools and workstations
• Keeping the braiding area clean and organized between clients
• Assisting with general salon duties as needed
• Learning our techniques and service standards
This position will start part-time, with the opportunity to receive more hours as you learn, improve, and become more independent in the role.

AYUDANTE DE TRENZAS – MEDIO TIEMPO
Braids by Ana está buscando una persona responsable, motivada y con deseos de aprender para unirse a nuestro equipo como Ayudante de Trenzas.
No es necesario tener experiencia profesional haciendo trenzas. Tener conocimientos básicos de trenzado es un plus, pero estamos dispuestos a capacitar a la persona adecuada.
Buscamos a alguien proactivo/a, dispuesto/a a aprender, detallista, responsable y que se sienta cómodo/a trabajando en un salón con bastante movimiento. Una persona que tenga iniciativa, sepa trabajar en equipo y nos ayude a ofrecer una excelente experiencia a cada cliente.
Entre las responsabilidades se incluyen:
• Preparar y organizar el cabello y las extensiones
• Preparar el cabello de los clientes antes de los servicios
• Asistir durante el proceso de trenzado
• Ayudar con las terminaciones y detalles finales de los estilos
• Ayudar a sellar y terminar las trenzas cuando sea necesario
• Organizar productos, herramientas y materiales
• Desinfectar herramientas y estaciones de trabajo
• Mantener el área de trabajo limpia y organizada entre clientes
• Ayudar con tareas generales del salón cuando sea necesario
• Aprender nuestras técnicas y estándares de servicio
La posición comenzará a medio tiempo, con la oportunidad de recibir más horas a medida que aprenda, mejore sus habilidades y pueda desenvolverse con mayor independencia.
