Established Colorado legal support company is seeking dependable independent contractors to assist with the delivery of legal documents throughout the Denver Metro area.
This is an entry-level-friendly 1099 independent contractor opportunity and is especially well suited for someone looking for supplemental income, flexible field work, or an opportunity to gain experience working independently.
The ideal candidate may be someone new to this type of work, someone already doing gig or delivery work, or someone looking to add a few additional assignments to their existing schedule.
ABOUT THE WORK
Assignments involve traveling to residences, businesses, and other locations to deliver legal documents. You will document your service attempts using a smartphone and provide accurate information back to our office.
No prior process-serving experience is required. Training and instructions are provided.
Assignments are offered as they become available, and you can decide whether you are available to accept them. This is not a guaranteed-hours or full-time position. Assignment volume varies depending on client demand and your coverage area.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Applicants should have:
Reliable transportation
Valid driver's license
Smartphone with internet access
Strong communication skills
Ability to follow detailed instructions
Dependability and good judgment
Ability to work independently
Evening and weekend availability is especially useful because many people are easier to reach outside normal business hours.
Experience with process serving, courier or delivery work, rideshare, field inspections, property inspections, mobile notary work, investigations, or similar independent field work is helpful but not required.
COMPENSATION
Standard completed assignments pay $25
Additional compensation may apply to certain assignments
Compensation can vary depending on assignment type, urgency, location, and requirements
Paid per assignment
No guaranteed minimum number of assignments
This opportunity is generally best suited for someone seeking supplemental income rather than a full-time workload.
Reliable contractors who communicate well, follow instructions, and complete assignments properly are generally the first people contacted when additional work becomes available.
WHY THIS MAY BE A GOOD FIT
You work independently rather than reporting to an office every day. You can let us know when you are available and accept assignments that fit your schedule and coverage area.
This can be a good opportunity for someone who is entry level, wants to develop experience in independent field work, or already works in delivery, transportation, inspections, notary work, or another flexible occupation.
