Stillson Wrench, 12" long, The Erie Tool Works, Erie, PA USA What is a Stillson wrench? - a pipe wrench having an adjustable L-shaped jaw sliding in a sleeve that is pivoted to and loosely encircles the handle so that pressure on the handle increases the grip. . Daniel C. Stillson (1826-1899), a mechanic at the Walworth Company, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, created the first such wrench. On October 12, 1869, US patent #95,744 was issued to Stillson.

This is a Bernard Leather 6 Hole Punch. It is made by the W. Schillhorn Co. in New Haven, Conn. On the side of it says "LODI". This tool is untested and is approx. 9 x 5 x 1/2 inches. The William Schollhorn Company of New Haven, Connecticut was a well-known maker of parallel-jaw pliers and other tools in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The company was incorporated in 1891 and remained active through the first part of the 20th century, and was eventually acquired by the Sargent Company in 1948.
