Established commercial construction company in the Lehigh Valley is looking for a dependable, organized full-time warehouse/shop employee to manage the daily movement, preparation, and maintenance of equipment and materials.
Hours:
Standard start time is 5:00 AM for an 8-hour day. Start times may occasionally vary depending on incoming and outgoing deliveries and jobsite requirements.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Pull equipment, materials, tools, and sundry items from daily pick lists
Verify quantities and items before anything leaves the warehouse
Stage and load equipment and materials for outgoing deliveries
Unload incoming trucks and verify returned or delivered materials
Operate a forklift for loading, unloading, and warehouse organization
Operate a Bobcat/skid steer for organization of the exterior yard and storage areas
Keep the warehouse and yard clean, organized, and properly maintained
Inspect equipment before it is sent to jobsites and again when it is returned
Clean, paint, test, and tag equipment as necessary
Perform routine preventive maintenance on tools and equipment
Perform minor equipment repairs and troubleshooting
Electrical repair experience is a major plus
Small-engine repair and maintenance experience is a major plus
Must be mechanically inclined and comfortable working with tools and equipment
Must be able to safely lift and move construction materials and equipment
Must be dependable and comfortable with early morning hours
Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license & clean driving record.
Forklift experience preferred
Bobcat/skid steer experience preferred
