We are hiring two experienced General Managers for a family-owned franchise group operating locations for a well-known national smoothie and juice brand—one GM for Alhambra and one GM for Rosemead.
Each General Manager will be responsible for leading one restaurant. We are looking for hands-on leaders who can develop a strong team, manage the business, and take ownership of their store’s overall performance.
This is an active leadership role. Our General Managers work alongside their teams, provide direction during busy periods, and ensure their restaurant is always guest-ready, shift-ready, and inspection-ready.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead, coach, and develop Team Members, Shift Leads, and Assistant Managers
Recruit, interview, hire, train, and retain a dependable team
Oversee daily restaurant operations and maintain company and brand standards
Create weekly schedules based on projected sales and business needs
Manage labor while maintaining proper coverage, food safety, and guest service
Monitor sales, labor, food costs, inventory, waste, and profitability
Oversee ordering, inventory counts, cash handling, deposits, and store controls
Maintain high standards for product quality, cleanliness, food safety, and guest experience
Review performance reports and create action plans for improvement
Set clear expectations and address performance concerns promptly and professionally
Resolve guest concerns and use feedback to improve the restaurant
Ensure required logs, checklists, and operational documentation are completed accurately
Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and inspection-ready restaurant
Communicate consistently with Operations and Ownership
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Minimum of two years of restaurant management experience
Previous General Manager or experienced Assistant General Manager preferred
Experience managing staffing, scheduling, labor, inventory, food costs, cash controls, and store performance
A hands-on leader who leads by example
Ability to coach employees, create accountability, and develop future leaders
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Comfortable reviewing reports and making sound business decisions
Ability to remain calm and lead effectively in a fast-paced environment
Food safety certification or willingness to obtain one
Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
Availability to work opening, closing, weekend, holiday, and peak-period shifts based on business needs
SCHEDULE EXPECTATIONS
General Managers must maintain a flexible schedule and be present when leadership is needed most. This generally includes at least one opening shift, one closing shift, and one weekend shift each week. Weekly schedules may vary based on staffing, training, vacations, promotions, and business needs.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires standing and walking for extended periods, bending, reaching, and performing repetitive motions. General Managers must be able to operate restaurant equipment, work in refrigerated or freezer areas when needed, and lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
