EXPERIENCED HANDYMAN / RESIDENTIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
This is NOT an entry-level position.
Quality Services, LLC is seeking an experienced, dependable, and well-rounded Handyman/Maintenance Technician with proven hands-on residential repair and maintenance experience.
Certifications are welcomed; however, certifications alone will not substitute for practical field experience. The ideal candidate should already possess a working knowledge of common residential repairs and be capable of completing many routine service calls independently and professionally.
We are willing to train the right employee on Quality Services' procedures, customer-service standards, and company expectations, but we are not looking to train someone from the beginning on basic handyman skills.
Experience:
The candidate doesn't necessarily need to be an expert in every trade, but should have practical experience with:
Drywall patching, plastering, sanding, and touch-up painting
Basic carpentry, trim, doors, locks, and hardware
Basic plumbing repairs, including faucets, toilets, disposals, and minor leaks
Basic fixture, switch/outlet, and light installations
Caulking, grouting, and minor tile repairs
Installing shelves, blinds, mirrors, TVs, and accessories
Identifying common residential maintenance problems
Proper use of hand and power tools
Working independently in customers' homes
Maintaining a clean and professional work area
Knowing when a repair is outside their skill level and needs to be escalated
