QR Code Link to This Post
Chile Verde is an Albuquerque-based Ska / Ska Punk / Skacore band looking for musicians to complete our lineup and start playing local shows. Check out the music linked below.
We are building our line up and currently have a Drummer, 2 guitarist/lead, Bass Player, Trumpet Player, back up and lead vocalist and trumpet player, and we already have 7 original songs released and streaming everywhere. We’re ready to start writing and recording new material with new bandmates and turn Chile Verde into a full live band.
LOOKING FOR:
Trumpet
Trombone
Saxophone
Keys
Horn players are especially wanted! Our music is very horn-driven, and we'd eventually like to build a strong horn section.
ABOUT US
We make music because we love doing it. We're not trying to become famous or make this a full-time career — the goal is to put together a solid band, make great original music, play shows around Albuquerque, and have a good time doing it.
For me, being in a band has always been about more than just the music. My last band back in LA played together for over 17 years, and we became lifelong friends along the way. That's the kind of vibe I'd love to build with Chile Verde — a group of people who genuinely enjoy making music, hanging out, playing shows, and creating something together.
We take the music seriously, but we want the band itself to be fun, creative, and low-drama.
We're also open to experimenting with different sounds and influences. We're not interested in trying to sound exactly like every other ska band. We'd love for new members to bring their own influences, ideas, and style to the music and help shape where Chile Verde goes next.
You don't need to be a professional musician. We're more interested in finding people who can play, are dependable, enjoy ska/punk music, and want to be part of a band.
Influences / Sound: Ska, Ska Punk, Skacore, Punk Rock, Metal, Alternative, Reggae and whatever else sounds good.
We already have songs to learn, so you can hear exactly what we're doing before deciding if you're interested.
I can send you the stems of the current songs so you can practice or I can show you how to play the parts.
