We have an immediate need for an Installer to join our team.
Some duties of the Installer position include, but are not limited to:
- Assemble, deliver, and install furniture product for clients;
- Load furniture into truck to prepare for delivery;
- Offload furniture from trucks and organize in warehouse
- Maintain clean and organized job site;
- Get sign-off from customers after project completion;
- Follow company safety guidelines;
- Work with Administrative team to resolve installation concerns and issues;
- Use Outlook to review upcoming installs/deliveries
Most (but not all) work is performed as part of a crew of Installers, so this is very much a teamwork-based position.
Standard hours for this position are Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 3:30 PM (with half hour unpaid meal break each day). Additional hours beyond this schedule may be required depending on business needs.
Prior work experience in the commercial furniture industry is preferred but not required; other helpful experience includes construction, warehouse, moving, assembly, etc.
Working knowledge of hand tools and basic power tools (i.e. cordless drill) is preferred. Forklift and pallet-jack experience is helpful but not required.
Pay is hourly and starting rates are based on prior work experience.
Windows computer experience and experience using smartphones/tablets/email for communication purposes is also helpful.
