Each 9.25-inch plate is decorated with 24K gold and a reproduction of famous paintings depicting the 6 patriots - Alexander Hamilton, Abigail Adams, Benjamin Franklin, John Paul Jones, Patrick Henry, and Thomas Jefferson. Plates are in excellent condition but some of the presentation boxes show surface wear, etc. This collection of plates celebrates the 200th anniversary of the United States in 1976, making them a significant historical memorabilia item for collectors.
