Entry-level data center installation support performing material receiving and staging, equipment unpacking, work area preparation, cleaning, labeling, punch list items, and basic mechanical assembly. Assists with positioning and assembly of racks, cabinets, equipment frames, cable tray supports, and aisle containment under direct supervision. Supports qualified trades with the placement and mounting of power and cooling equipment, without making electrical connections or opening energized equipment. General knowledge of hand and power tools, basic measurements, installation instructions, and safe material handling. Follows site access, cleanliness, equipment protection, and lockout/tagout requirements applicable to assigned work. Records completed tasks and reports damage, missing materials, and installation concerns to the lead technician.
