1974 Olds O-991 3/4 Bb tuba - $1,430 (Fisher's Landing)

This is a classic 3/4 sized, valve front, Olds Bb tuba - a quality horn from an outstanding company. I has an unusually good lacquer finish (70%), that I left largely intact, polishing the spots of wear and oxidation only. It has great compression, an excellent-looking finish and it is very straight, with the one dent area in the bottom bow (see photos). You can see details of its condition in the other photos. From a distance it looks flawless and plays wonderfully, but there is minor dinging that comes from its 53 years of living. That is the reason that the horn is selling for 23% of the cost of this type horn; it will retain its value if taken care of.
