We are now hiring full-time and part-time Solo Class A CDL drivers in Columbus, OH. (Grove City, OH terminal)
Do you have a Class A CDL and an impeccable safety record? RPX Logistics Inc. is immediately hiring Class A CDL - FedEx Ground Truck Drivers! We are looking for professional truck drivers to handle FedEx Ground runs from the Columbus, OH area. Runs go between various FedEx locations in Columbus, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Cambridge, Parkersburg WV, etc. All Automatic day cab Freightliner Cascadia lease trucks.
**Solo Driving ** Home Daily**Night Time Position** 10pm-2am start time**
**within 65 miles of work location**
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Must have Doubles/Triples endorsement or ability to obtain prior to being hired.
Must possess one year of verifiable Tractor Trailer experience in the last three years
Must be able to pass a background check.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record- No accidents or tickets in the past 3 years.
Ability to follow instructions and complete required training
Complete Background Check, MVR Screening, login to Clearinghouse, and take a Drug Test
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate tractor-trailer combination, including doubles.
Perform daily pre-trip/ post-trip and safety inspections on equipment
Drop & Hook Only. No-touch Freight!
Customer Pick up and Delivery spots
Verify and complete required documentation and reports
Maintain accurate daily logs
Follow dispatch instructions and communicate with dispatch (e.g. delays, arrivals, equipment problems), as required
Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
Perform other duties as required
PAY AND BENEFITS:
Pay starts at $29 per hour
