We have 2 leucistic and 3 wild type, all supposedly have GFP. It’s very apparent in the leucistic ones, but the wild type are harder for me to get a good read on still (the bigger ones are more obvious to me, but they’re not as bright as the leucistic). I assume they will become more obvious as they grow and their speckles aren’t as concentrated in such a small area, but I’m not an expert and really don’t know how that works.
They’re currently eating blackworms because I find it easier and less messy, but they’ll also “hunt” (in the cutest way possible) frozen brine shrimp - the water just gets really gunked up with the shrimp and needs cleaned immediately afterward (please read about juvenile axolotl care - they’re not difficult, but it’s not a fish and you can’t just put it in a tank with a filter and let it do its thing :) ).
