Hello! I am 28 years old and I have accepted a job in the Redding area that will start in mid-November. I am currently looking for a safe, quiet place to live in within Redding city limits for a short commute. I would be moving from Merced, and I am hoping to move by the end of October, early November at the latest.
Short Term
I am open to renting a small apartment, property, or ADU for $800-$1550 on a short-term lease, either month-to-month, 3 month, or 6 months.
Long Term
I would be willing to sign a 12-month lease for a two-bedroom house with a yard where I would be allowed to keep chickens. While I am moving to Redding by myself, I am currently in a committed relationship and hoping that my partner will be able to join me here in the spring. The timeline of when they'd be able to join me is dependent on if they are able to work in the area. They currently have a flock of three chickens and would like to bring them with us. While living on my own, I can afford up $1900 a month for rent.
