Vulcan VHL3E 3-Compartment Pressure Steamers - commercial electric boiler-base food steamers, 24 kW, 480V 3-phase. Matched pair.

These are the steamers big kitchens are built around. Each Vulcan VHL3E stacks three independently controlled pressure-steam compartments on its own 24 kW electric boiler cabinet - real boiler steam, not a countertop generator. Vegetables, rice, seafood, pasta, eggs and rethermed entrees come out fast and evenly, compartment after compartment, through a full service.
Every compartment has its own cook-time control and switch, so you can run three different items on three different clocks. Heavy stainless doors seal with screw-down T-handles, and the pan slides take standard 12x20 hotel pans.
Both units work. True matched pair with sequential serial numbers (27-1141566 and 27-1141567).
Great for school districts, hospitals, institutional kitchens, caterers, banquet halls, commissaries, seafood and dim-sum restaurants - or anyone replacing a worn-out boiler-base steamer for a fraction of the price of new. A comparable new unit runs well into five figures.

CONDITION (honest look)
- Both units tested and working
- Pulled from a working commercial kitchen; normal use, surface dust/grime from storage - will clean up well
- Left bay of the boiler base has no front cover; one interior access panel in the base is loose and needs re-fastening
- Sold as-is. Have a qualified electrician and plumber install (480V 3-phase, water feed and drain). Water treatment recommended where water is hard.
