Artisan Inc is a highly custom design-and-build general contractor in Yakima, and we're looking for a hardworking, reliable Framer to join our production crew.
Finish work might be the "face" of a home, but we know a great build starts with a square, level, solid frame. If you take pride in structural integrity, we want to talk to you.
Previous residential framing experience preferred — but we'll train the right person with strong mechanical aptitude and basic construction know-how
A steady work history with no major employment gaps (dependability matters a lot to us)
Physically able to handle rough-in carpentry — lifting, climbing, and working outdoors in all weather
Reliable transportation to job sites around the area
Valid driver's license (required)
What You'll Be Doing:
Measuring, cutting, and assembling lumber for walls, floors, and roof systems
Reading blueprints and schematics accurately
Working alongside our experienced crew of journeymen to keep jobs on schedule
Keeping the job site clean and safe
Benefits:
401(k) with employer match (after 1 year)
Health & vision insurance — 75% employer-paid (after 90 days)
Accident coverage — 100% employer-paid (after 90 days)
Life insurance
Optional dental & cancer coverage available (employee-paid)
Why Work with Us:
Year-round employment, stable hours, and a family-oriented crew that rewards hard work with real advancement opportunities into more specialized roles.
