Complete rebuilt 1976 302. Built for towing, power, and torque. Upgraded Howard’s cam, ground for low-mid end torque 1000-4000 rpm, new hydraulic lifters and double roller timing chain and gears. Bored 30 over with new pistons, wrist pins, and rings. Crank mains and rods are standard, only needed polishing (Yakima Grinding). New main, rod, cam bearings, soft plugs and plugs. Heads were done by S&B machine in Kennewick, installed with new ARP head bolts. Heads machined for ARP 7/16 screw-in studs with 3/8 rocker studs. New 1:6 ratio roller rockers, Comp Cams pushrod guides, new push rods. High volume oil pump with new oil pump/distributor drive shaft. Comes with zinc additive for initial break in. Full set of gaskets (minus head gaskets and rear seal used on installation). All threads were tap chased and cleaned. Comes with harmonic balancer, Ford aluminum four-barrel manifold, shorty headers, timing cover, and oil pan. Complete set of stainless-steel bolts; intake, carb studs, timing cover, water pump, headers, oil pan, distributor, alternator, grade 8 bolts for oil pump.
