Up for your consideration is a classic R100RS sport touring bike with the wind tunnel developed fairing. I am the second owner and I bought it 25 years ago when it had 26,000 miles on the odometer. It is unrestored and unmolested with relatively low miles, original silver smoke paint and matching engine/frame numbers. It is very clean, well maintained and always garaged and covered. It is stock and original except, of course, for normal wear items, tires, brakes, lamps, battery, etc. and the following upgrades: stainless steel brake lines, progressive rear shocks, gustafsson taller windscreen, kathy's fairing pockets, brown side stand, krauser bags w/keys, with original seat belt type latches on these bags, converted to the later claw type latches, and, of course, a custom seat. A collection of spare parts, plus all the original parts changed out, will accompany this bike, along with the original owners manual, tool kit and tire pump. Everything works as it should. All fluids have recently been changed, including brake fluid and fork oil and has new battery. Starts good, runs strong and smooth. It is nimble, very quick and fun to ride with excellent wind and weather protection. This bike is a true "survivor," but still very decent looking, and is being ridden occasionally.
