Petty Larceny Band is looking for our next keyboard player!
Our longtime keyboard player is retiring, and we’re looking for the right person to join us as we head into 2027. We’re an established Tom Petty tribute band playing a busy schedule of shows throughout New England, and we’re looking for an accomplished, reliable keyboard player who can bring the organ and keyboard parts of Tom Petty’s music to life with accuracy, feel and energy.
The ideal candidate is a strong, versatile player who can learn material quickly, nail the record-copy parts, and contribute to a great live show. Just as important, we’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, good stage presence and a genuine team-first mentality. A love for Tom Petty’s music and a solid knowledge of the catalog are definite pluses.
Petty Larceny has been voted Best Tribute Band in the Worcester Music Awards four years running, and we’re proud of the reputation we’ve built and the shows we get to play. Our calendar typically includes 40+ performances a year at established concert halls, popular outdoor venues, casinos and select clubs across much of New England.
We’re fortunate to have a great group of musicians who enjoy playing together, and we’re looking for someone who shares that same commitment to the music, the audience and the band. We’re not looking for a hired gun or a player who wants the spotlight for themselves. We’re looking for a true bandmate who wants to be part of something special.
We typically rehearse a couple of Wednesday evenings per month in Worcester, as schedules allow.
Auditions will be held soon, with the goal of having our new keyboard player gig-ready by January 2027.
If you’re a talented keyboard player who loves Tom Petty, enjoys performing live and wants to be part of a hardworking, close-knit band, we’d love to hear from you!
