The upper cabinet has arched glass doors and a built in light. The top right hinge works as a touch switch, so you just tap it to turn the light on and off. (the bulb needs replacing). Grooved shelves hold plates upright for display.
The open middle shelf is a great spot for platters, bowls or a cake stand. The lower cabinet has two paneled doors and two shelves and provides plenty of hidden storage for additional serving pieces, glassware or table linens.
This piece is a perfect candidate for a scrubbed pine or raw pine look. The top coat can easily be removed to reveal the light wood underneath. It would also take paint for a farmhouse or modern look.
