Prime Time Butcher is seeking a dependable, experienced counter person to join our team. If you’ve worked behind the counter at a deli, bagel store, supermarket deli department, or similar food business, we’d love to hear from you!
We’re looking for someone who is friendly, hardworking, and comfortable helping customers in a busy retail environment. Butchering experience is not required.
Days & Hours
* Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
* Saturday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
* Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
* Minimum commitment of two of these days per week
Additional hours may be available during holidays and busy seasons.
Responsibilities
* Greet customers and provide friendly, attentive service
* Take orders in person and over the phone
* Weigh, package, label, and wrap meats and prepared foods
* Keep display cases stocked, organized, and attractive
* Rotate products and maintain freshness
* Keep counters and work areas clean
* Assist with closing duties, including sweeping, mopping, and trash removal
Qualifications
* Previous counter experience in a deli, bagel store, supermarket deli department, butcher shop, or similar setting
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Ability to multitask and accurately fill customer orders
* Reliable attendance and a team-oriented attitude
* Willingness to learn our products and procedures
