One way to get some value out of the collection which goes back to 1847 British ( Penny Blacks) and US 1847 issues, is that I've begun, because of astronomical price increases for postage and increasingly poor/inefficient " service" due to UNIONS, is that I am using postage from stock books etc to mail things. Until the Postal Service screws Collectors further by demonetizing older uncancelled stamps, they are always worth face value. I have to laugh at the thought of USPS trying to cancel these stamps!!!! This months bills.........Saving Sheets and Plate blocks for boxes I need to ship......
