No. 2 (Red Label): An intermediate appearance grade. This grade permits limited flat grain, sapwood, and tight knots, making it well-suited for vertical siding, accent walls, and gables rather than roofing. 4 bundles to a square at 5 1/2" exposure.

No. 1 (Blue Label): The highest grade available. They are 100% heartwood, 100% clear (free of defects), and 100% edge grain (vertical grain), making them ideal for both top-tier roofing and exterior siding.
