Antique American Craftsmen Era, Mission Style, Solid Quarter-Sawn Oak Armchair & Rocking Chair Set with Original Leather seats $1300

Set only - pieces not available separately

**Pick up by buyer or shipper only - Midcoast Maine**

The style originated in New England, featuring quarter-sawn oak with beautiful grain, sturdy linear design, durable construction with eased edges for comfort. This set was handmade in upstate New York about 1900. The wood is in excellent condition, showing gentle wear of over a century of use. The original spring cushions are covered in brown leather, with age related wear (pictured). The chair's seat has a significant crack and the rocker's seat has minor cracks. For this reasonable price, the cost of recovering the seats still makes this a good deal.

**Pick up by buyer or shipper only - Midcoast Maine** Buyer may arrange for shipping at their expense.

Armchair: back height 38.25", width at armrests 27.25", seat height 18.5", depth

Rocker: back height 38.25", width at armrests 27.25", seat height 17.5", rocker depth 33"
