Looking to rehome two wonderful snakes to a highly experienced, quality keeper who can provide them with the dedicated care they deserve. I care far more about them finding the right, permanent home than the money.
The Reptiles:
• Adult Ball Python: Healthy, and has a great temperament. One of the most laid back snakes I’ve handled. He does have a history of hunger strikes, especially during the winter months.
• Adolescent/Young Adult BCC Boa: Beautiful snake, growing well, and has a strong feeding response. He is very friendly but can be defensive if startled.
The Enclosures:
• Two Boamaster Enclosures: High-quality, solid builds that fit these species perfectly.
• Condition: They are in good structural shape but need some TLC. For instance, the sealant could be redone. However, when I originally sealed them, it took a couple of weeks of airing out with a fan pointed at them before the chemical smell dissipated and the enclosures were safe for use again.
• Note: The heating/thermostat setups are outdated. You will need to install updated thermostats and modern heating elements to ensure proper environmental gradients. The current ones work well but are 3+ years old.
Requirements for Buyers:
• please no young kids, amateurs, or impulse buyers. Please do not reach out if you do not have experience keeping large constrictors or managing complex humidity/temperature gradients.
• Must have the means to safely transport the large Boamaster enclosures.
If you are a passionate, experienced herper who can give these two a good home and a little time to refresh their setups, please reach out with a brief description of your reptile keeping experience.
