We are looking for a reliable, experienced, positive, and hardworking Make-Ready Technician to join our team at a beautifully maintained, high-end townhome community in Windsor Mill, MD.
The ideal candidate takes pride in their work and understands that attention to detail is essential when preparing a home for its next resident. You should be dependable, professional, solution-oriented, and able to work independently while maintaining the high standards of our community.
Responsibilities
Prepare vacant townhomes for new residents and ensure they are fully move-in ready
Complete general maintenance and repairs between move-outs and move-ins
Perform drywall patching, painting, caulking, and touch-ups
Perform minor plumbing repairs, including faucets, toilets, drains, and fixtures
Handle basic electrical repairs such as replacing switches, outlets, light fixtures, and bulbs
Perform minor carpentry and flooring repairs
Install and repair doors, locks, blinds, shelving, hardware, and other fixtures
Inspect appliances and perform basic troubleshooting
Thoroughly inspect homes and identify items requiring repair or attention
Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
Complete work orders efficiently and with attention to detail
Communicate professionally with management, residents, and team members
Follow all safety procedures and community standards
Participate in an emergency maintenance call rotation with other team members and be willing to respond to emergency maintenance calls when scheduled
Experience Required
Previous experience in property maintenance, apartment/townhome maintenance, facilities maintenance, or make-ready work
Hands-on experience with painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, flooring, and general maintenance
Ability to safely operate common hand and power tools
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be physically capable of standing, bending, climbing stairs, lifting, and performing general maintenance duties
Must speak and understand English
Must have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and professional demeanor
Must take pride in quality workmanship and maintaining a high-end community

1-hour lunch
Emergency Maintenance Rotation:
The selected candidate must be willing to participate in a rotating emergency maintenance/on-call schedule with other members of the maintenance team. Emergency calls may occur outside of normal business hours when the employee is assigned to the rotation.
