M.W. Trucking LLC is hiring experienced third-shift drivers to operate 26-foot non-CDL box trucks with liftgates.
POSITION DETAILS
• Based in Windsor Locks, CT
• Monday–Friday overnight schedule
• Consistent five-night availability is required
• Various third-shift start times; most routes begin around 10:00 PM
• Most routes are completed within eight hours or less
• Interstate routes may include CT, MA, RI, NH, VT, and ME
• 1099 independent-contractor position
COMPENSATION
Most routes pay up to $200 per completed route. Select routes may pay up to $225 depending on the assignment, route requirements, and driver experience.
Compensation is route-based, not hourly, and paid weekly. Route assignments are based on business needs, driver qualifications, and availability. A specific route or compensation level is not guaranteed.
Training pays $100 per night for up to five nights. Training compensation is paid after the driver successfully completes 30 days as an active solo driver in good standing.
REQUIREMENTS
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Minimum of two years of verifiable 26-foot box-truck driving experience
• Valid driver’s license and active DOT medical card
• Acceptable MVR and commercial-insurance eligibility
• Liftgate, pallet-jack, freight-scanning, and ELD experience
• Knowledge of required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Ability to safely perform the essential driving and freight-handling duties, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently overnight
• Must pass a company road test
Applicants must pass an MVR and commercial-insurance eligibility review. M.W. Trucking LLC may require background screening or drug testing when permitted by law and necessary for an assignment or continued eligibility.
Drivers must complete and document pre-trip and post-trip inspections every shift and immediately report all vehicle defects, damage, warning lights, and safety concerns.
This is a physical, hands-on delivery position—not a drop-and-hook position.
All trucks are smoke-free and equipped with dual-facing safety cameras that record the roadway and cab for insurance, security, and safety-compliance purposes.
