Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Dispatcher to join our transportation operations team. In this vital role, you will coordinate and manage the dispatching of yard jockey drivers, ensuring the trailers are in the correct place at our large truck depot. Your proactive communication skills and attention to detail will help optimize logistics workflows and improve customer satisfaction.
Job Location: Bloomfield CT
Salary: $24/hr
Shift: Day shift / 4 AM-4 PM Sun-Tuesday and 4 AM - 10 AM Wednesday OR 10 AM Wed to 4PM Wed and Thurs to Sat 4 AM to 4 PM
- Sending Yard Jockey's to move trucks to the correct locations within a large truck depot
- Use of computer, Shipping Sheets and radios
-Multiple shifts available - We can find a schedule that will work for you
-3.5 days on and 3.5 days off.
-Must have some logistics, customer service or scheduling experience
- Good PC and communication skills
- Able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
