Construction Flagger.
Job Loacation: Windsor, CO
Long-term- At least 1yr
Responsibilities:
• Main job responsibilities will be flagging and spotting for large equipment. Including forklifts, snorkel lifts, and other large equipment.
• Assist equipment operators, foremen, and other crew members when needed.
• Work around excavators, loaders, skid steers, dump trucks, and other construction equipment.
• Follow instructions from foremen and project managers.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions, hazards, damaged equipment, or other concerns.
• Perform additional duties as necessary to help complete projects safely and efficiently.
Required Qualifications:
• At least 1 year of experience working on large construction jobsites.
• At least 1 year of experience flagging.
• Ability to follow directions and work and communicate as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and ability to get to the jobsite in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work safely around heavy equipment and construction activities.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the workday.
• Must be willing to perform a variety of tasks rather than being limited to one specific job.
This position may require frequent physical activity, including:
• Walking and standing for extended periods.
• Working on uneven or rough terrain.
• Working around dust, dirt, noise, and heavy equipment.
• Working outdoors in hot, cold, wet, and other adverse weather conditions.
• Lifting and carrying materials and tools up to 50lbs when needed
• Bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing.
