For Sale is my C.G. Conn C-Melody Sax. Serial # 140572. There is also a patent number on the horn too.The horn has been completely refurbished by Beller’s Music in Manchester CT. To get a brighter sound I had new pads installed with metal resonators to get a more cutting modern Jazz/R+B sound. The horn plays smoothly and the intonation is consistent up and down the horn. I had everything rebuilt on this sax except having the silver replaced because I like the darker look to the silver.
Included with the horn is a brand new case, Comfort neck strap, reeds, cork grease and your choice of one of the following mouthpieces. I tried playing the horn with tenor and alto sax mouthpieces and choose to use a the Vandoren Metal V 16. Some players use an alto mouthpiece with a C Melody Sax. Your choices are: Vandoren Metal V 16-T8, Vandoren Regular V-T8, Jody Jet Tenor 7*, Jody Jet Alto 7, Meyer Alto Hard Rubber 5.
This is a great deal for what is included.
