Responsibilities:
Companionship and gentle conversation
Preparing and serving a light dinner
Medication reminders (to my father administering them)
Help with the evening routine and getting ready for bed
Light tidying (dishes, kitchen)
Keeping her safe and calm, and gently redirecting if she becomes confused or anxious
What we’re looking for:
Experience caring for seniors, ideally with dementia or memory loss
Patience, kindness, and a calm presence
Dependable and punctual (consistency matters a lot for her)
Able to communicate clearly with family about how each evening went
MUST LIVE IN WINCHESTER OR MAX 15 MINS FROM OUR HOME LOCATED IN DOWNTOWN WINCHESTER
References required; background check required before hire
CNA or HHA certification a plus, but not required
