Jackson JS3V Q 5-String Bass - Trans Black Burst, Active EQ, Case - $285 (Wimberley, TX)
QR Code Link to This Post
Dual Jackson covered high-output humbuckers with an active 3-band EQ (two volume controls + bass/mid/treble), Jackson HiMass bridge, black hardware. This is the quilt-top version, and it comes in the grey foam hard case shown in the photos — the case alone is a meaningful chunk of the value here.
Please read: this bass was my dad's — he bought it new, and it's been stored in its case, climate controlled, ever since. I know it works: I've played it and everything functions as it should, electronics and all. It's just been sitting, so expect it to want fresh strings and a setup, as any stored instrument would. Cosmetically it is exactly as shown in the photos — every close-up is of this actual instrument. Sold as-is. Happy to let you plug in and try it at the meetup.
Local sale only: public meetup at the Wimberley Ace Hardware parking lot preferred; can meet elsewhere in the surrounding area for the right deal. Cash preferred. Great first 5-string or metal/hard-rock workhorse. Please no shipping requests — I don't ship, and lowball/scams get ignored.
