We are seeking a dependable, professional, and motivated Delivery Driver & Sales Representative to join our team. This is more than a driving position. We are looking for someone who takes pride in excellent customer service and can also identify new sales opportunities while servicing our existing customers.
Responsibilities
Work with the Expeditor to prepare, verify, organize, and load customer orders.
Arrange orders according to delivery sequence for efficient unloading.
Plan the most efficient daily route to reduce travel time, mileage, and fuel costs.
Make accurate and timely deliveries throughout Orlando, Kissimmee, St. Cloud, Plant City, Haines City, Tampa, St. Petersburg, Bradenton, Sarasota, and surrounding areas.
Provide professional and courteous service to customers.
While traveling established routes, identify restaurants, meat markets, supermarkets, food-service businesses, and other potential customers similar to those we currently serve.
Introduce yourself to prospective customers as a Sales Representative and Delivery Driver, provide approved company information, and obtain contact information for potential sales opportunities.
Report new leads, customer requests, and sales opportunities to management.
Maintain proper product handling, food-safety, sanitation, and temperature-control procedures.
Keep the company delivery vehicle clean, fueled, organized, and ready for operation.
Monitor the vehicle for required maintenance, oil changes, tires, mechanical concerns, and repairs and promptly report service needs to management.
Complete required delivery, mileage, fuel, and vehicle documentation.
Qualifications
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Dependable, punctual, organized, and able to work independently.
Strong customer-service and communication skills.
Ability to plan efficient multi-city delivery routes.
Comfortable approaching and introducing the company to prospective customers.
Ability to load, unload, and safely handle meat products.
Ability to work in refrigerated/cold environments and varying weather conditions.
Previous delivery, food distribution, restaurant supply, meat industry, or sales experience is a plus.
Familiarity with Central Florida and Tampa Bay/Gulf Coast areas is preferred.

Our drivers represent our company in the marketplace. Employees must maintain a clean, well-groomed, professional appearance at all times. Clean company-approved clothing, long pants, and appropriate closed-toe footwear are required. Shorts are not permitted.
