This fantastic sounding preamp made by PS Audio is in beautiful condition with all functions are working well, the switches and controls have been cleaned and the capacitors have been checked and/or replaced by a technician. The best sounding preamp made by PS Audio, the 5.0 was especially well regarded for the incredible phono stage with sensitivity and loading adjustment for many cartridges including moving coil and moving magnet cartridges. The external power supply is in very good condition and it is the original one. This preamp is as good or better than many that now sell for much more. The DC outputs have had high quality capactors installed to prevent DC offset.

The sound is excellent, dynamic, very transparent, fast, and tonally neutral, especially when using the optional "straight-wire" line stage settings.

The preamp offers great versatility and is well thoughtout that for what they go for on the used market it fits perfectly into the no brainer category .

Capacitance and impedance can be matched to the cartridge used with a switch on the back, and if that isn't enough you also get gain matching, so that you can set the volume control to where it sounds best.

All switches are made of silver. Construction is impecable. Comes with original power supply and a complete schematic. Please include name and phone number in replies because I'm listing this preamp for a friend. Reasonable offers will be considered.
