As a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist, you’ll play an important role in providing exceptional patient care while supporting physicians with high-quality diagnostic imaging. You’ll prepare and position patients, operate advanced CT equipment, and work alongside an experienced team of imaging professionals in a collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and position patients for CT procedures while prioritizing their safety, comfort, and individual needs.
• Operate CT equipment to obtain accurate, high-quality diagnostic images.
• Collaborate with physicians and fellow team members to support excellent patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and required documentation.
• Follow all applicable safety standards and Novant Health’s “First Do No Harm” philosophy.
• Provide compassionate, professional care while adapting to patients’ age- and condition-specific needs.

Qualifications

Education

• Required: Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiography Program or ARRT/NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program.
• Preferred: Associate Degree.

Experience

• Preferred: One (1) year of CT experience.

Licensure & Certification

• Required: Certified and registered by ARRT in CT (RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT)) or CNMT, RT(CT) — required or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Required: IV credentialing.
• Required: Applicable state license.
• Required: Life Support Training per Novant Health policy (NH-HR-3096).
