Vermont Casting Vigilant - $950 (Williamson)

It has been heating my house for years, but because of my age now, I can't deal with wood hauling, otherwise
I would never consider selling it.
I have the original owners manual and ash shovel that came with it. I will include a tool rack, ash barrrel,
bottom heat deflector, home made fire starters and indoor wood box and more. The chimney discharge can be changed
to vertical by removing two screws and turning it 90 degrees.
This is more than a wood heater. It has a built in griddle that you can make French toast, pancakes, or toast on.
It is great for making soups, stews, and chili in the winter. With a cast iron dish you can roast chicken, beef or pork without the cost of a regular oven. A tea kettel on the stove gives you instant hot water for your coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. I seldom ever used my kitchen appliances when the Vigilant was providing heat.
Don't miss out on a beautiful heater that can be opened to be a fireplace too for those romantic evenings.
I love this stove. Hate to see it go.
