If you’re a Nirvana fan like me, you know how special/cool this bass is! Made by Gibson in collaboration with Krist Novoselic in a very limited run. Only from late 2011-2012. This one is a 2011 model. So as you can tell in the photos, unfortunately someone at some point started sanding the finish off the front of the body as well as trying to remove finish from the front of headstock. (Most likely because it would have had Krist‘s signature in silkscreen on the front). The original Gibson logo is still there. However, LUCKILY the finish on the back of the bass as well as the serial number was left intact. Theres scratches and dings all over the front of the headstock as well as tape residue probably from taping off the Gibson logo, but no evidence that i can see of a headstock repair. Missing the truss rod cover as well. NOW for the good news.… Despite its appearance it actually sounds and plays GREAT! Electronics look to be original, one of the volume knobs is slightly loose but all work. Hardware appears to be original also. Asking 1800 obo. Currently the only one for sale in the US as of posting this ad. Framed display photo in 2nd pic is not included. Any questions feel free to ask.
